Business Training and Consultations

The Small Business Resource Center (SBRC), a program of Region 10,  is an educational center focusing on supporting new and existing small businesses with their basic needs. From “how to start a business” to expanding your knowledge on running QuickBooks, marketing plans and more are available at through SBRC. SBRC Trainings are held at DCED and The Hive in Paonia. Successful and knowledgeable Delta County business people serve as consultants. Business consulting/counseling if provided for free. Delta businesses (commercial, industrial, agricultural, government & nonprofit) can take advantage of long-term financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy installations, and water conservation projects with no upfront costs.
The Hive is a co-working space in the North Fork Valley. Co-working space provides the opportunity for independent professionals and those with workplace flexibility to work better together than they do alone. The Hive has short and longer term memberships available.
