WHY DELTA COUNTY?
Live, work, play is a great theme for Delta County. With gigabit broadband service, ample infrastructure and affordable space, Delta County is an ideal place to be. Delta County offers outstanding schools, affordability, open skies, endless recreational activities, six unique communities, a strong work ethic, fresh opportunities and State/Local business incentives. We are creating opportunities for success and balance that individuals and businesses are seeking.
The cornerstone of great membership organizations is the strength of its members. Through a collaboration of Public and Private sector organizations and individuals, DCED's volunteer Board of Directors as well as its investors has positioned the organization to take the lead in development activities in the county. DCED membership offers a wide range of benefits and as a 501(c) 3 organization, all membership funds are tax deductible and include state tax credit associated with an Enhanced Rural Enterprize Zone.
Collaboration with a number of local organizations including Chambers of Commerce, Small Business Resource Center as well as local government have allowed continued expansion of DCED's scope of work and support of local business.
